We are an award winning landscape design and construction company based in Christchurch, New Zealand. Henry established Henry Blakely Landscapes LTD in 2010 after having spent the previous 15 years working in both the landscape and civil construction industries.

Our portfolio covers high-end residential landscape design, large residential gardens, lifestyle blocks, city courtyard gardens and challenging sites. We work on an array projects from new builds through to back yard refurbishments. No site is too big or small.

    Our process starts with an on-site consultation to understand your vision and the site’s potential. We then prepare a tailored brief and fee proposal for the concept stage, presented as an A3 booklet with imagery, references, and a scaled A2 plan. Where helpful, 3D renderings bring the design to life, supported by a planting schedule detailing species, sizes, and seasonal character.

    Next, we can develop detailed construction documentation to guide accurate implementation. Our plans provide clarity for contractors and confidence for clients. We’re also experienced in navigating council processes and meeting public sector requirements, ensuring all submissions are clear, compliant, and on time.
